University Hospitals is a constantly moving system. Tens of thousands of people travel to and from our facilities every day to work, be treated, or deliver goods and services. Fossil fuel-based travel can significantly affect air quality and health, generating particulate pollution that can cause adverse health effects.
Healthier, more sustainable forms of transportation are available, and UHHS is taking steps to encourage them. Our RTA Commuter Advantage Program supports the use of public transportation; parking priority is being given to fuel-efficient and carpool vehicles; and biking or walking to work is always encouraged as a healthy way to get where you need to go.
RTA Commuter Advantage Program
