  • University Hospitals Center for Clinical Research and Technology – the top 15 in the country, uses translational research (the clinical application of scientific medical research, from lab to bedside), and advancements in biomedicine, to improve industry standards, and quality of patient care. Discoveries are achieved through a combination of federally funded research, sponsored research agreements with the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, and our award-winning team of investigators.
  • The UH Case Medical Center Office of Research Compliance and Education – serves as a tool for enhancing human subject protections and promoting the responsible conduct of research. Primary goals are to educate the UH research community about requirements and ethical standards governing research through the monitoring process, and to assist investigators during research by verifying basic principles of responsible research conduct are being met.
  • DAHMS Clinical Research Unit – The William T. Dahms, MD, Clinical Research Unit is an institutional resource for multidisciplinary human research providing specialized facilities for clinical research into the cause, prevention, control and cure of human disease. The Unit is jointly funded by a grant from the National Institutes of Health, the UH Case Medical Center and user fees.
